JinBar: Inside one of Canada’s best new restaurants in Calgary (VIDEO)

JinBar, one of Canada’s top new restaurants and dining venues, offers one of Calgary’s most unique and exciting dining experiences.

Bridgeland’s restaurant received rave reviews from the publication enRoutepraising Chef Jinhee Lee’s delicious Asian fusion dishes fused with bold Korean flavors.

The concept specializes in Korean-influenced cuisine, but in a bold and exciting way. Korean fried chicken is a must, but there are also pizzas, snacks and more.

The pizza here alone is unlike anything you’ve tried before, with original creations like the brown soy butter wild mushroom pizza or the sweet corn pizza, made with alfredo sauce, onion, jalapeño , mozzarella, parmesan, parsley and shavings of honey butter .

The whole menu is like that. Familiar classics crafted with intense care and a game that makes you want to order and amaze you when you try it.

The fried chicken is perfectly cooked every time, with flavors like Korean Chili Glaze and Honey Garlic Butter. Nothing on the menu here seems repetitive.

Tacos, sides, desserts, and a massive list of snacks and veggie dishes are so well-designed that they’re perfect for an intimate date or a large group looking to share it all.

JinBar’s space is different on both levels. The lower level is where you can watch skilled bartenders shake and stir cocktails, like the Mu-gung-hwa, made with hibiscus-infused gin, lime, wild berry shrubs and raspberries.

The upper level is equally vibrant, with the open kitchen-style setting allowing diners to see the bustle of Chef Jinhee Lee and the kitchen crew cooking and playing.

JinBar operates in a beautiful 105-year-old heritage building, decorated with a minimalist touch to preserve the look, with a few neon signs and eye-catching plants here and there.

It’s really no surprise that YYC’s JinBar also received the title of Best Bar Restaurant when Air Canada’s enRoute awards were announced.

If you want to try delicious dishes served with a dynamic twist, you have to check this place out.
