School Lunch Menus SW La. Jan. 18-21 – American Press


The following menus for January 18-21 for area schools have been submitted by food service supervisors. Monday is a school holiday. Menus are subject to change.



TUESDAY: Chicken nuggets or chicken pancake (breaded or grilled), white cheddar macaroni, yam pancake, green beans, apricots, banana.

WEDNESDAY: Roast pork, rice and gravy, black-eyed peas, whole grain corn, fruit cocktail, grapes, whole wheat bun or chocolate graham crackers.

THURSDAY: Nachos (meat, cheese, sauce, tortilla chips) or chicken taquito, Mexican beans, cut lettuce/tomato, blueberries, raisins.

FRIDAY: Cheeseburger or grilled cheese sandwich, onion rings or sweet potato fries, celery sticks with ranch, pears with grated cheese.


TUESDAY: Slice of ham and oatmeal, Trix cereal bar or graham crackers, peaches, orange.

WEDNESDAY: Plain bagel with cream cheese or toast with jelly, string cheese stick, apricots, banana.

THURSDAY: Pancake on a stick, hash brown, fruit cocktail, grapes.

FRIDAY: Lunch break kit, muffin (banana or blueberry), blueberries, raisins.

THURSDAY: Breakfast burrito, mixed fruit.

THURSDAY: Barbecued chicken, baked beans, red grapes, wheat roll with honey.

FRIDAY: Hot ham and cheese hoagie, roasted potato wedges, seasoned green beans, watermelon.


TUESDAY: Hot biscuit with chicken, banana.

WEDNESDAY: Eggstravaganza breakfast, buttered toast, fruit cocktail.

THURSDAY: Chocolate chip muffin, red apples.

FRIDAY: French toast sticks, sweet kiwi.
