The following menu is for meals delivered to homes in Genesee County.

Mealsites in Batavia, Corfu and Havenwood are now open. To make or cancel reservations, please call (585) 343-1611 for Batavia, Corfu, (585) 343-1611 and (585) 344-1260 for Havenwood.

All lunches include 1% milk.

The menu is no added salt and low in sugar. The menu is subject to change.

notMonday (Batavia and Havenwood sites open): Vitamin C juice, potato and ham gratin dauphinois, diced carrots, multigrain bread, apple compote.

notTuesday (Havenwood open): Ground beef goulash, green beans, 100% whole wheat bread, tangerines.

notWednesday (Havenwood open): Veal cutlets, rice, broccoli florets, multigrain bread, diced pears.

notThursday (Batavia, Corfu and Havenwood open): vitamin C juice, pork chops with apples, German potato salad, mixed vegetables, 100% wholemeal bread, biscuit.

notFriday (Havenwood open): Knockwurst with hot dog bun, sweet potatoes, peas, tropical fruits.

Meals are delivered to Livingston County residents age 60 and older, regardless of income, who cannot cook meals themselves or travel to a congregate meal site. Meal sites are located at the Village Building, 74 Genesee St., Avon (open Tuesday through Friday); Dansville United Methodist Church, 5 Chestnut Ave., Dansville, Boyd & Parker VFW Post, 3 Elm St., Mount Morris and Wildbriar Estates, 17 Wildbriar Drive, Livonia (all open Monday through Thursday).

The suggested contribution is $3 per meal and the program accepts SNAP (Food Stamp EBT) benefit cards. No one will be denied a meal due to their inability to contribute the suggested contribution.

notMonday: Chili, cauliflower, spinach, cornbread, pineapple, cranberry juice.

notTuesday: Roasted pork loin, mashed potatoes, yellow beans, Brussels sprouts, wheat roll, crispy pear, orange juice.

notWednesday: Baked chicken, stuffing, corn, capri vegetables, slice of wheat bread, tropical fruits, apple juice.

notThursday: Braised roast, mashed potatoes, green beans, carrots, wheat bread, applesauce, orange juice.

notFriday: Cod with Mediterranean salsa, rice pilaf, broccoli, wheat bread, peaches, apple juice.

The Orleans County Meals on Wheels program offers a hot meal delivered around noon. Additional cold meal available for dinner (approved by case manager) and/or frozen meal on weekends; suggested contribution $3 for lunch, $5 for hot and cold meals and $6 for frozen and weekend meals.
