On Saturday morning, the town of Wetumpka and the First Community Bank hosted the Fall Farmers’ Market starting at 8 a.m. There was a great turnout at the event with several vendors from Wetumpka and surrounding areas.
The Farmers Market was built with the help of Hometown Take Over from HGTV. In the latest episode of The Bulls, Ty Pennington says, “Build it, and they will come,” as the copula was placed on the roof of the pole barn that houses the Farmers Market.
Turns out Ty was right because on Saturday they arrived.
Shorter’s Shana’s Place was at the Farmers Market selling a variety of fresh cut meats. Piggy Pickles and More from Tif offered a variety of fresh preserves. T&K Hobby Shop had a large selection of wooden items. B&B Farms & Goods sold fresh chili and soups. Evans Produce of Chilton County sold freshly grown vegetables. Hometown Homemade Co was present at the event and offered fresh honey and preserves, and Pure Honey from the Prattville Honey Farm also had freshly harvested honey at the Farmers Market.
Not only were there lots of great vendors with fresh produce and other specialty items at the Farmers Market, but there were also fun activities for kids like a petting zoo, brought to you by Wildly Blessed from Eclectic. There was also face paint and corn hole games.
Chrietzberg Photography was on site and offered family photographs at the Farmers Market.
