Lokesh Vale launched the Twisted Indian as a food truck in St. Petersburg in 2016. The concept has been a major hit at the Saturday morning market and pop-up events throughout Sunshine City. Seriously, buttermilk naan and chicken tikka masala are addictive.

Moon Frog Arepas might be one of the best food trucks in the city of Tampa. The low-key concept features fresh Venezuelan cuisine in downtown Tampa, and its recipes have received near-perfect 5-star reviews from customers.

Owners Shane and Yosmar strive to deliver the best food in the city of Tampa.

Shane is from Boston, who spent fifteen years in the aviation industry. He has served in global missions as an Air Force F-15 Weapons Troop, Army Apache Pilot, and PSA Airlines Pilot. When Shane met Yosmar, he quickly fell in love with her grace, her beauty and most of all her cooking, according to the Moon Frog website.

Tasty flip’n

Flip’n Tasty is a Filipino food truck that will make you want to eat only Filipino food for weeks. We recommend the Sara Rice bowl: a bowl of white jasmine rice, pancit (noodles in many Filipino dishes), pieces of barbecue pork and topped with their Tasty sauce.

Taste of Gourmet has a cafe at 4195 54th Ave N, but so we’re here for the food truck. All dishes are hot, fresh and made to order. Their menu changes quite often, but no matter what’s on the menu, these southern seafood and comfort food never disappoints.

Dreams come true, guys.

If you want southern home cooking, Heavy’s is the way to go. Chefs Kendrick and Ron have over 15 years of cooking experience and wanted to bring some southern charm to the Tampa Bay area. This food will fill you up and make you feel like you need a nap, which in our opinion is the best way to feel after a meal.

Maggie on the move

Maggie on the Move is one of Burg’s original food trucks and their menu is sprawling. Chicken Souvlaki? They got it. Tater toddlers? You bet. Fried cheese curds? Oh damn yeah. They also serve poutine, Greek donuts, and the famous bacon baklava. The truck has a ubiquitous presence here in St. Pete, and it would be wise to follow them on Facebook to catch Maggie on the Move at the next Tampa Bay event.

La Strada Mobile Kitchen

La Strada Mobile Kitchen makes one of the best pizzas in all of Sunshine City. On-the-go wood-fired pizzas and delicious cheeseburgers complete an exceptional and unique menu.

Korean Anju Gastrotruck

ANJU is the Korean word for salty, crunchy, or spicy foods that pair well with beer or soju. Korean fried chicken wings reign supreme here. They are also accompanied by an incredible sweet sticky rice. You can also go for the Crispy Fried Chicken K-Pops.

Vamos Food Truck

The best arepas in the area. The food truck serves sensational Colombian cuisine. I would be lost without their take on a Cuban sandwich, the amazing (and spicy) vegetarian options, and just the overall kindness and compassion of the owners. We always dream of white corn arepas made from scratch.

Chef Nicolas Gomez was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia. He graduated from Cordon Bleu in Orlando and worked in some of the best restaurants in Tampa. He has over 16 years of experience including banquet experience.

Owner / operator Melinda Murray Gomez grew up in central Illinois before moving to Tampa in 2006. She has over 12 years of experience in the hospitality industry and is an aspiring sommelier working on certification with the court of master sommeliers.

Vamos! started as a small stand in October 2016 operating at farmers’ markets and events in the Tampa Bay area. In March 2017, we were proud to open Vamos! Colombian inspired food truck. Look for us at breweries, offices and special events all over Hillsborough and Pinellas counties.
