Bagel Ice Cream at Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams
Making his long-awaited return, Jeni’s All Bagel ice cream will be available while supplies last. The cult favorite features a dense, salty and barely sweet cream cheese ice cream tossed in a buttery streusel sprinkled with sesame, poppy seeds, onions and garlic.

National Tamale Day Specials at Sylvia’s Enchilada Kitchen
In addition to offering a special offer on its usual pork and chicken tamales, Sylvia’s enchilada cooking6401 Woodway, 1140 Eldridge, will offer Tamales de Rajas, made with roasted jalapenos and queso panela. The offer extends both on the spot and to take away. For take-out tamales (must be ordered 24 hours in advance), Sylvia’s offers a dozen chicken, pork or tamales from rajas for $22 plus tax and tip. For dinner, a plate of three tamales topped with salsa verde and queso fresco and served with rice and beans costs $15.95 plus tax and tip.

Spring dinner at Vic & Anthony’s Steakhouse
Wine lovers are invited to raise a glass to Vic & Anthony’s Steakhouse, 1510 Texas, during the Spring Wine Dinner, beginning at 7 p.m. with a welcome reception featuring past hors d’oeuvres and followed by a five-course dinner with expert wine pairings. Highlights include oTartare A5 with black pepper brioche and black garlic aioli, octopus romesco, duck breast with tea jus and apple cider, strip of Gyulais with wagyu marrow butter and caramelized pineapple cake. Tickets costs $250 per person including tax and tip.
The La Crema Experience at the Bayou City Art Festival
the Bayou City Arts Festival runs March 25-27 at Memorial Park, and Cellar La Crema will be in Houston to unveil its La Crema Experience, a pop-up tasting lounge that’s stopping in Houston on its nationwide tour. The interactive experience features wine tasting, interactive touch points, board games, and a larger-than-life wine bottle photo booth.

Brunch Saint-Germain at Brasserie 19
Breweries 19, 1962 West Gray, will host a St. Germain brunch from noon to 3 p.m., featuring bartender Lucio Fernandez’s quintessentially French elderflower liqueur cocktails. Opt for drinks like the Violet and Elder, with crème de violette, St. Germain and prosecco; de la Chienne de Base, with St.Germain, grapefruit, vodka and grapefruit bitters. Reservations are recommended.
Raclette evening on the terrace of Montrose Cheese & Wine
Montrose cheese and wine1618 Westheimer, is hosting its last raclette night of the season this Saturday, starting at 1 p.m., featuring melty scraped raclette over potatoes with caramelized onions, pickles, and slices of baguette for $20 ($24 with charcuterie ).
Tequila and Wine Dinner at Alicia’s Mexican Grille Houston Restaurant
Alicia’s will host a series of tequila and wine dinners, including its spring location, 20920 Kuykendahl, on Saturday, March 26; in Houston, 12002 Richmond, on Saturday, April 2; and the Sugar Land/Richmond location, 20420 Southwest Freeway, on Saturday, April 9. Cost is $89 per person and includes a Frio River Float welcome drink, roasted corn poblano soup with shrimp, pepper-crusted filet mignon with bourbon demi-glace, Mexican Milk ricechords and a shot of G4 Extra Añejo to end the evening.

Reserve 1011201 Caroline, will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a pop-up pub experience until March 31. Come and sample Dublin’s pub culture, with Teeling Whiskey cocktails and its range of award-winning Irish whiskies.
Pink Menu at Rosalie Italian Soul
Rosalie italian soul, 400 Dallas, has launched a limited-time Rose menu (two appetizers and a dessert with suggested wine pairings), available through March 31. Inspired by owner Chris Consentino’s great-grandmother, Rosalie, highlights include “Lady and The Tramp” spaghetti and meatballs ($21); Rose Chicken & Radicchio ($26), with rose-brined chicken, radicchio, blood orange, and rose petals; and Vegan Rose Soft Serve Ice Cream ($9), with sweet petals and honey rose water.

Brennan’s of Houston celebrates 55 years
by Brennan, 3300 Smith, is currently celebrating 55 years in Houston with special multi-course menus available for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, including a two-course anniversary lunch ($19.67) with choices ranging from Snapping Turtle Soup and Creole Onion Soup to Victoria Prawns with Rice Salad and Fried Crayfish; a three-course birthday brunch ($55) featuring choices like grilled veal and Fitzgerald grits and pancakes; and a two-course birthday dinner ($55) with a choice of snapping turtle soup or snail bordelaise with garlic bread pudding and breaded veal and fettuccine or redfish Greg entree.
Don Jalapeño Beer Collab with Blood Bros. BBQ and No Label Brewing Co.
No Brewing Co label. re-released the fan-favorite Don Jalapeño beer, a single batch, once a year, in collaboration with Barbecue Blood Bros. which offers peppers sourced and smoked on site on the barbecue. Head Brewer Ryan Traylor crafted the beer in conjunction with Blood Bros. pitmaster. Quy Hoang, semi-finalist for the 2022 James Beard Award for Best Chef in Texas. Don Jalapeño is available now at No Label Dining and will be available at Greater Houston Area retailers on Monday, March 21, including HEB, Kroger, Spec’s and Total Wine & More. On Thursday, March 24, Blood Bros. BBQ will host a launch party for Don Jalapeño during their dinner service once a week at 6 p.m.
March Madness Burger at Hopdoddy
To celebrate March Madness, Hopdody Burger Bar featured the Final Fowl Burger, consisting of a Buffalo Chicken Patty topped with Celery and Carrot Slaw, Buffalo Ranch Sauce, Fried Cilantro Mayonnaise on a Honey Mustard Brushed Bun. Get it for $10.25 now through April 5.
Series of culinary canvases at Le Jardinier and Café Léonelli
The gardener and Cafe Leonelli, 5500 Main, launched the Culinary Canvas series, emphasizing the connection between food and art by bringing exhibits to life in a culinary format. Throughout the year, the two restaurants of the Museum of Fine Arts will offer special creations that coincide with the exhibitions of the museum, starting with special offers at the Gardener that are inspired by virtual realities: the art of MC Escher from the Michael S. Sachs Collection, on display at the museum until September 5. Flavors include seared scallops with cauliflower fudge, blackcurrant coulis and black tuile; and a black and white sesame seed praline dessert.
Spring Vine & Dine at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar
Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar will offer the Spring Vine & Dine Experience, an adventurous three-course menu with springtime flavors paired with three organically grown wines from Long Meadow Ranch, through June 15 for $95.
Support for Ukraine
Kenny & Ziggy’s1743 Post Oak, sends aid to Ukraine, donating sales of its Ukrainian meatballs to the nonprofit Razom for Ukraine, an organization desperately collecting donations for its emergency response project to provide medical supplies, humanitarian aid and support volunteers on the ground. For every sale of main course meatballs ($23.95), Kenny & Ziggy’s will donate $4 to Razom. Each appetizer-sized purchase ($13.95) will result in a $2 donation to the charity. The meatballs are served in a casserole with a brown sauce or a sweet and sour sauce. The main course is served with a choice of two sides. This charcuterie effort will continue indefinitely.
Rustika Café and Bakery3237 Southwest Freeway, launched a Dessert Happy Hour, with a portion of the proceeds from each purchase benefiting the International Rescue Committee – an organization working quickly to mobilize resources that will provide vital support to Ukrainian civilians forced to flee their homes. Available Monday to Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to closing, until March 31, the café and bakery will offer coffee and desserts at special prices.
Until the end of March, Phat Eatery23119 Colonial, is participating in #ChefsForUkraine by donating 100% of proceeds from every purchase of roti canai ($5), his fan-favorite flaky Indian flatbread with curry dip, to Chef Jose Andres. World Central Cuisine, which meets the basic food needs of the Ukrainian people. Available for on-site and take-out orders.
Pier 6 Seafood and Oyster House113 6th, created a special cocktail in favor of WCK. The restaurant will donate 100% of the proceeds from the Kyiv cocktail ($10), which consists of Blue Chair rum, peach schnapps, blue curacao and pineapple juice.
The tasting room818 Town and Country, and the two locations of MAX’s wine dive214 Fairview, 4720 Washington, have created a “Kyiv Mule” cocktail, made with luxury Ukrainian Shevkoff vodka, with a percentage of sales donated to World Central Kitchen, an organization that works to provide meals to Ukrainian families fleeing their homes and to those who remain in the country.
Underbelly Hospitality Wine Director Matthew Pridgen has compiled a list of some of his favorite wines – Georgia James will donate 20% of each bottle sold from this list to World Central Cuisine. The list will be available from Tuesday March 8 and will remain so as long as Georgia James is located at 1658 Westheimer.
