“Dagola cooking oil will be marketed by Dagola Inc.UMeWorld’s wholly-owned US subsidiary, as a healthier alternative to traditional triglyceride-based cooking oils,” said Michael LeeCEO of UMeWorld. “Dagola cooking oil is superior to vegetable, corn, soybean, canola and olive oils that consumers find on supermarket shelves. These oils, which are made up of triglycerides, are inferior both in terms of nutrition and flavor. Our oil, derived from canola, is metabolized in the body so that less fat is stored. The result? Enjoying all the health benefits of Dagola Oil without changing dietary habits or Consumers can stop worrying about how much oil they use on their steak, chicken, salads and any other meals they prepare that contain oil.

What is that

All conventional cooking oils currently on the market (vegetable, corn, soy, canola, olive, etc.) are largely triglyceride (TAG) oils, containing very small amounts of diacylglycerols (DAGs). Starting with all-natural canola oil, Dagola Oil is produced by a patented enzymatic process that increases DAG concentrations to levels as high as 80%. With its delicious light taste, Dagola Oil can replace existing cooking oils in salad dressing, home frying, baking and cooking – virtually any recipe where vegetable oil is used.

How it works, safety and health benefits

Unlike triglycerides, DAG is metabolized (broken down) directly by the body as energy, rather than stored as fat. According to numerous clinical studies, DAG oil can help individuals maintain or lose weight when included as part of a balanced diet. The FDA has designated DAG oil as a GRAS (“Generally Regarded as Safe”) food product, while other countries such as Canada, Australia, China and the European Union have recognized DAG oil as a novel food and can be freely marketed to consumers. Dagola oil has been the subject of an ongoing clinical trial with 840 type 2 diabetic patients, where results showed a significant reduction in body weight, body mass index, total serum cholesterol and serum uric acid.
