SOUTHEAST NC – Area restaurants are rolling out their vacation menus to get customers to start making plans as the big day looms two weeks away.
Below is a list of local restaurants ready to serve the tastiest meals for you and yours on December 24th and some on December 25th. Not all are served onsite and require pre-ordering, and many have pickup deadlines. Others require reservations.
Whichever you choose, be sure to make your decisions early and wisely, and call ahead to ensure availability. Happy Holidays!

Christmas morning will be a treat, thanks to the different NOMA cookie offerings, all in sausage bars, or ham and raspberry jam, or in sticky buns and cinnamon buns ($ 10-18).
The restaurant can also help with dinner with a menu of starters, including dips (jalapeño corn, buffalo chicken, or shrimp) and chicken pie bites. It also offers prime rib, lasagna, cabbage, Boursin au gratin potatoes, lobster and truffle macaroni and cheese, and other items ($ 4.50 to $ 130).
The meal can be completed with a variation of treats: coconut, lime, pecan or chocolate pie ($ 22- $ 32).

Bluewater will be serving New Years Eve dinner from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. They will offer fresh grilled specials and holiday dishes, including roast prime rib with Dijon mustard and herbs, served with half a red wine, roasted garlic mashed potatoes and Romanesco ( $ 38).
Alaskan King Crab ($ 42) and Pink Pepper and Scallion Black Bass ($ 38) will also be featured.

Bridgewater’s Leland and Porter’s Neck Road locations accept fully cooked take out Christmas dinner orders. For $ 45 per person, each meal is accompanied by a giant shrimp cocktail and a house salad to start, a tender prime rib au jus and a horseradish sauce, steamed broccoli, baked potatoes and an assortment of small pastries for dessert.
Replacements and special requests cannot be taken into account. All meals are individually wrapped and are microwave ready. Pickup is noon to 3 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

Casey’s Buffet will be open Christmas Eve from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will be closed on Christmas Day. Buffet prices are $ 16.99 for adults, $ 15.99 for seniors (62 and over), and $ 8.99 for children (4-12).
The restaurant also offers catering for $ 9.99 per person for pickup or drop-off. People can choose from a wide range of country cuisine, as each plate includes two meats, two vegetables or sides, as well as bread. Meats include turkey and dressing, ham, roast, oxtail, beef stew, prime rib, burger steak, baked chicken, barbecue, among others. The restaurant will be closed on Christmas Day.

Grand Cru and Wine

Located in Lumina Station, Grand Cru is open on Christmas Eve and offers its menu of cold meats and cheeses, salads, small plates and signature dishes.

Although closed on Christmas Day, Michael’s Seafood is open on Christmas Eve. They also accept orders from their catering menu with 24 hour notice.
The menu includes items such as ‘soups for groups’, which feed 12-15 people and come with soup crackers ($ 60) or large salad bowls that can feed small groups (10-15), medium groups (20-30) and large groups (40-50), with prices ranging from $ 35 to $ 200.
Michael’s also offers a variety of platters – cold cuts, fruits and vegetables, salad lovers, hummus, wings, meatballs and more mini crab cakes), sides (tots, Brussels with bacon, mushroom risotto), shellfish and individual dishes. on the plate (minimum order of six).

Asian fusion nori sushi

Serving Japanese, Chinese and Thai cuisine, Nori will open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, during regular hours from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Located at Pointe à Barclay, Nori will serve their full menu of sushi, sashimi and rolls, as well as a poke, noodle dishes and curries.

Diners can choose between the regular menu or the seasonal menu, which includes a colossal shrimp cocktail ($ 17), seared grouper ($ 38) and filet mignon ($ 41).
Oceanic is closed on Christmas Day.

Panacea’s Christmas vegan menu feeds six to eight people and includes a casserole of lasagna, a salad – house and spinach and fresh berries – and a loaf of garlic brioche ($ 42). A gluten-free option is available, made with sweet potato pasta and served with gluten-free buns.
There are three flavors of lasagna: traditionally made with Impossible crumbles and almond ricotta, mozzarella and marinara; mushroom and white sauce, made with ricotta with almonds, mozzarella and cauliflower cheese; and vegetables in Alfredo sauce.
Panacea also serves a la carte sides that feed six, including citrus glazed sweet potatoes, braised super greens, roasted garlic potatoes, and mac and cheese ($ 7 to $ 20).
A peanut butter cashew cheesecake, Dutch apple pie, and brownie platter are also available ($ 18 to $ 50).

Pine Valley Market

Pine Valley Market serves turkey breast by the pound ($ 14), as well as traditional dressing, cabbage, macaroni and cheese, roasted root vegetables, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry relish, as well as pies and breads made from cookies.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House

Located at the Ballast Hotel, Ruth’s Chris will be open Christmas Eve from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and closed on Christmas Day. The regular menu will be served.
The steak house also offers a take away holiday party, with roast beef tenderloin, choice of salad, garlic purée and creamed spinach, as well as four chocolate cakes. He feeds four and costs $ 195.
Holiday sides can also be purchased for $ 27.95, including creamed spinach, a pot of sweet potatoes, au gratin potatoes, green beans with garlic, a sausage and herb stuffing, a Caesar salad and a steak house salad.
The restaurant requires 48 hours notice before ordering.

Tarantelli’s will open on Christmas Eve from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with the last reservation at 7:30 p.m. It will serve Italian specialties from its menu, including antipastis, homemade pasta, pizzas and the chef’s signature dishes. .
The restaurant will close on December 24 at 10 p.m. and will remain closed until the 27.

The Brooklyn Arts District’s modern seafood restaurant will serve a special Christmas Eve dinner, with your choice of duck or whole fish. It is served in a family style with cream puffs, yams and bread – on site only.
There will be a limited quantity, so reserve a spot by calling 910-399-5428; deposit required. The special meal serves a family of four for $ 80. A limited regular menu will also be available.
