First vegan take-out opens to ‘overwhelming support’

– Ziggy’s, a popular vegan restaurant in San Luis Obispo, opened a second location in Paso Robles to celebrate New Years on January 1. Located at 1227 Pine Street, the menu features plant-based foods and an all-day breakfast menu.

“We chose Paso Robles for a second location because we found there just weren’t enough herbal options in town that were quick, fun and convenient,” says co-owner Matt Martinez.

“When we got the opportunity to serve our food downtown, it was even more of a reason to be here. We are so more than grateful for the welcome we have received.

“All the residents and businesses nearby have been overwhelmingly supportive and we are absolutely humbled. We met so many great people in our first week, and the days go by just because it was so much fun.
